DADS (Dictionary of Algorithms and Data Structures) is an iPhone and iPod Touch dictionary of algorithms, algorithmic techniques, data structures, archetypal problems, and related definitions. Algorithms include common functions, such as Ackermann's function. Problems include traveling salesman and Byzantine generals. Some entries have links to implementations and more information. This application does not include algorithms particular to business data processing, communications, operating systems or distributed algorithms, programming languages, AI, graphics, or numerical analysis. This is a dictionary of "general" algorithms and data structures useful for students and computer engineering research applications. Some terms with a leading variable, such as n-way, m-dimensional, or p-branching, are under k-xxxxxx.

For the first time, the DADS database is available in an iPhone and iPod Touch application. Fully searchable, both by category and across all categories, the dictionary is designed for ease of use on a mobile device. To facilitate as little typing as possible, you can add frequently accessed definitions to your Favorites, and a full running history is kept of all items viewed. This is all customizable via the application preferences, so the application can be customized to work however is best for you.
